Baking soda is one of the best known home remedies that you can use for your hair and skin problem that is readily available at any store.

1. Exfoliates skin

- Mix one part water and 3 parts baking soda, after mixing apply on skin; wash with warm water then use skin moisturizer.

2. Cleans hair

- Mix one spoon of baking soda with your shampoo then apply on wet hair, let it stay for 10 minutes then rinse with shampoo and conditioner.

3. Moisturizes elbows and knees

- Mix a spoonful of baking soda on your lotion or moisturizer then apply to the rough portion of your elbows and knees.

4. Soften hands

- make a paste using water and baking soda; apply on hands to remove dead skin cells.

5. Whitens teeth

- Mix baking soda to water then add a little salt, use it as toothpaste. You can also use this for eliminating bad breath by gargling.

6. Neutralizes odor

- For underarms, simply mix baking soda and water and to make paste.

- Apply this to under arm to eliminate bacteria causing odor, you can also use this to scrub for under arms whitening.

- Mix lemon and baking soda then apply on face; do this at night because lemon may damage skin if exposed to sun.
